Atractions: Isabella the Catholic, proclamation, Alcázar, coat of arms, Catholic king and queen, “tantomonta, montatanto”, Aqueduct, Christopher Colombus, Torquemada, the marquis of Villena.

This tour is a good choice to know all those places related to queen Isabella in Segovia, the beautiful town where she was proclaimed the queen of Castille.

The route starts at the Roman Aqueduct going towards the fortified “House of Chains”, saint Martin Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, Abraham Senneor´s house and the Main Square. We will finally get to the castle, Alcázar, where a very nice mural painting representing her proclamation is shown and of course, the throne room, one of the best places to appreciate the coat of arms of the Catholic king and queen and a canopy with their well-known “tantomonta, montatanto”; a special sentence with a deep significance under their reign.

It is possible to recreate the fifteenth-century atmosphere from this castle and to remember the great importance of several historical characters related to queen Isabella such as the marquis of Villena, Torquemada, Christopher Colombus and some others.
